The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever.

Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. But suppose that servant says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and he begins to beat the menservants and maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk.
