“Therefore behold,” declares the LORD, “I am against the prophets who steal from one another words they attribute to Me.”
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, or his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need.
Neither do we boast beyond our limits in the labors of others. But we hope that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you will greatly increase as well,
Pay everyone what you owe him: taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the perversity of the faithless destroys them.
Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin.
Better a poor man who walks with integrity than a rich man whose ways are perverse. A discerning son keeps the law, but a companion of gluttons disgraces his father. He who increases his wealth by interest and usury lays it up for one who is kind to the poor. Whoever turns his ear away from hearing the law, even his prayer is detestable. He who leads the upright along the path of evil will fall into his own pit, but the blameless will inherit what is good. . . .
In everything, show yourself to be an example by doing good works. In your teaching show integrity, dignity, and wholesome speech that is above reproach, so that anyone who opposes us will be ashamed to have nothing bad to say about us.
To do righteousness and justice is more desirable to the LORD than sacrifice.
By this I know that You delight in me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. In my integrity You uphold me and set me in Your presence forever.
Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.
The righteous man walks with integrity; blessed are his children after him.
Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men,
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For no word from God will ever fail.”
