Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
For lack of guidance, a nation falls, but with many counselors comes deliverance.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer.

This is the message that was revealed to Isaiah son of Amoz concerning Judah and Jerusalem: In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
And whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: “This is the way. Walk in it.”
Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—
He who walks with the wise will become wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.
Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the path chosen for him.
And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
There is hope, however, for anyone who is among the living; for even a live dog is better than a dead lion.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.
I can do nothing by Myself; I judge only as I hear. And My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”
All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.
The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do.
For no word from God will ever fail.”
The prudent see danger and take cover; but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.
I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
But as for you, brothers, do not grow weary in well-doing.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.”
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.
Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin.
“Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them. “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days.
Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.

Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
And when you do ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may squander it on your pleasures.
If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.
Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.”
But the one who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that is not from faith is sin.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree together, so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be united in mind and conviction.
