A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another.
If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
Above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo yourselves in honoring one another.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Be indebted to no one, except to one another in love. For he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.

Do to others as you would have them do to you.
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have a genuine love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from a pure heart.

Love does no wrong to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Finally, all of you, be like-minded and sympathetic, love as brothers, be tenderhearted and humble.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and which is already in the world at this time. You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them. . . .
And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.
If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
We love because He first loved us.
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity.
As a prisoner in the Lord, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received: with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, and with diligence to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; . . .
And now I urge you, dear lady—not as a new commandment to you, but one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another.
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.
Therefore let us stop judging one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way.
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her
No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring glory to God.
Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.
Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!
Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers all transgressions.
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.
But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
But if you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.
Do not lie to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices,
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
So, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.
Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets.
I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, brimming with knowledge, and able to instruct one another.
Show hospitality to one another without complaining.
Make sure that no one repays evil for evil. Always pursue what is good for one another and for all people.
and continually recalling before our God and Father your work of faith, your labor of love, and your enduring hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.
John replied, “Whoever has two tunics should share with him who has none, and whoever has food should do the same.”

The goal of our instruction is the love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and a sincere faith.
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.

so that there should be no division in the body, but that its members should have mutual concern for one another.
We are obligated to thank God for you all the time, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith is growing more and more, and your love for one another is increasing.
Treat everyone with high regard: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.
