Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Children are indeed a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is His reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. He will not be put to shame when he confronts the enemies at the gate.
From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they will not become discouraged.
See that you do not look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of My Father in heaven.

In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he care for the church of God?
God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. . . .
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of adversity come and the years approach of which you will say, “I find no pleasure in them,”
Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children,

for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John,
In the same way, urge the younger men to be self-controlled.
