Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!

Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and was unwilling to disgrace her publicly, he resolved to divorce her quietly. But after he had pondered these things, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to embrace Mary as your wife, for the One conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: . . .
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why does this concern us?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.” . . .
And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and the Baby, who was lying in the manger. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”
On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.
Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.
asking, “Where is the One who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
