Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.
and do not give the devil a foothold.
Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Abstain from every form of evil.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them.

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. By craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

But those who trust in idols and say to molten images, ‘You are our gods!’ will be turned back in utter shame.

For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut down a tree from the forest; it is shaped with a chisel by the hands of a craftsman.
Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.

What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
