Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you. Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
As a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings, and a partaker of the glory to be revealed, I appeal to the elders among you: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over them not out of compulsion, but because it is God’s will; not out of greed, but out of eagerness; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” . . .
Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love.
But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.”
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.

I am restless in my complaint, and distraught at the voice of the enemy, at the pressure of the wicked. For they release disaster upon me and revile me in their anger. My heart murmurs within me, and the terrors of death assail me. Fear and trembling grip me, and horror has overwhelmed me. . . .
But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”
The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm.
Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as a delicate vessel, and with honor as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Pray without ceasing.
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
Let death seize them by surprise; let them go down to Sheol alive, for evil is with them in their homes.

What causes conflicts and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from the passions at war within you? You crave what you do not have; you kill and covet, but are unable to obtain it. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask. And when you do ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may squander it on your pleasures. Or do you think the Scripture says without reason that the Spirit He caused to dwell in us yearns with envy? . . .
But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.
So we say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
A generous soul will prosper, and he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.

I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
And now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.
The LORD will always guide you; He will satisfy you in a sun-scorched land and strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to break the chains of wickedness, to untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and tear off every yoke?
Jesus wept.
For no word from God will ever fail.”
If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
