A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.
Like an apricot tree among the trees of the forest is my beloved among the young men. I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste.
Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings
Keep my commandments and live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
The grapevine is dried up, and the fig tree is withered; the pomegranate, palm, and apple—all the trees of the orchard—are withered. Surely the joy of mankind has dried up.
I said, “I will climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its fruit.” May your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the fragrance of your breath like apples,

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.
Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty. He wraps Himself in light as with a garment; He stretches out the heavens like a tent, laying the beams of His chambers in the waters above, making the clouds His chariot, walking on the wings of the wind. He makes the winds His messengers, flames of fire His servants. He set the earth on its foundations, never to be moved. . . .
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.
Later the other virgins arrived and said, ‘Lord, lord, open the door for us!’
How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings!
Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. Let my teaching fall like rain and my speech settle like dew, like gentle rain on new grass, like showers on tender plants. For I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Ascribe greatness to our God! But Jesus answered, “It also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
For You are my help; I will sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings.
He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.

May the LORD repay your work, and may you receive a rich reward from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have taken refuge.”
